Baseball Diamond Rules

General Use

  1. First Come, First Served (Unless Reserved) – If the field is not reserved online, it is available for public use with paid fees.
  2. Reservations Take Precedence – If the baseball diamond is reserved online, that time is exclusive, and all other activities must yield.
  3. Check the Schedule – Verify availability and book reservations online before use.
  4. Respect Reserved Time Slots – Do not enter or interfere with the field during a reserved session unless given permission.
  5. Limit Field Time – Be courteous and allow others to play if the field is busy and not reserved.

Safety & Conduct

  1. No Unauthorized Vehicles – No motorized vehicles (ATVs, bikes, or cars) on the field.
  2. No Smoking or Alcohol – Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited.
  3. No Pets on the Field – Pets must remain outside the playing area and on a leash.
  4. Use Proper Equipment – Only use approved bats, balls, and gear suitable for the field.
  5. No Climbing Fences or Dugouts – Climbing on backstops, fences, or dugouts is not allowed.

Field Care & Maintenance

  1. Pick Up Trash – Dispose of all garbage in designated bins.
  2. No Metal Cleats on Mounds – Metal cleats are not allowed on pitching mounds.
  3. No Soft Toss Against Fences – Hitting balls against the fence causes damage and is not allowed.
  4. Rake & Repair the Field – If you disrupt the infield (e.g., sliding, pitching), rake it smooth before leaving.
  5. Report Damage – Notify management of any broken bases, damaged fencing, or field hazards.

Failure to follow these rules may result in loss of field privileges.
