Baseball Diamond Rules
General Use
- First Come, First Served (Unless Reserved) – If the field is not reserved online, it is available for public use with paid fees.
- Reservations Take Precedence – If the baseball diamond is reserved online, that time is exclusive, and all other activities must yield.
- Check the Schedule – Verify availability and book reservations online before use.
- Respect Reserved Time Slots – Do not enter or interfere with the field during a reserved session unless given permission.
- Limit Field Time – Be courteous and allow others to play if the field is busy and not reserved.
Safety & Conduct
- No Unauthorized Vehicles – No motorized vehicles (ATVs, bikes, or cars) on the field.
- No Smoking or Alcohol – Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited.
- No Pets on the Field – Pets must remain outside the playing area and on a leash.
- Use Proper Equipment – Only use approved bats, balls, and gear suitable for the field.
- No Climbing Fences or Dugouts – Climbing on backstops, fences, or dugouts is not allowed.
Field Care & Maintenance
- Pick Up Trash – Dispose of all garbage in designated bins.
- No Metal Cleats on Mounds – Metal cleats are not allowed on pitching mounds.
- No Soft Toss Against Fences – Hitting balls against the fence causes damage and is not allowed.
- Rake & Repair the Field – If you disrupt the infield (e.g., sliding, pitching), rake it smooth before leaving.
- Report Damage – Notify management of any broken bases, damaged fencing, or field hazards.
Failure to follow these rules may result in loss of field privileges.
